Barb Caffrey holds two music degrees and is a writer, editor and musician. She is the author of AN ELFY ON THE LOOSE, a funny urban fantasy/romance novel from Twilight Times Books, and the co-author of the Adventures of Joey Maverick series (with late husband Michael B. Caffrey). She’s sold stories to the STARS OF DARKOVER anthology, BEDLAM’S EDGE anthology (with Michael B. Caffrey), the HOW BEER SAVED THE WORLD anthology, and the Written Word online magazine (with Michael B. Caffrey), a nonfiction article to Vision online, poems to the Midwest Literary Review, Joyful! online and the Written Word, and has written extensively for the Daily Nebraskan and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Ranger News as an arts and entertainment reporter and opinion columnist. Op-eds have also appeared in the Racine Labor Paper and the Racine Journal-Times (under the previous married name). She has reviewed for Amazon.com as an Amazon Vine reviewer, has edited for Masterpiece Comics, Rebel Dawn Creative Forces and Twilight Times Books, completed a sports editing internship for the website Bleacher Report and frequently watches — and is mystified by — the Maury show.
